Replacing the Thump 15A and Thump 12A Amplifier Module.

If you have to replace your Thump Amplifier module and it looks like the picture below

then you have older part 2048897-00 or 2048897-01

These old amplifier modules are discontinued and no longer available.

They have been replaced by Part :

Thump12A 2054657-02

Thump15A 2054657-03

Note that these new modules are not 100% compatible with the old one.
There is included an small PCB adapter that needs to be used to connect the speaker wires.

If your new module looks exact the same as the one in your cabinet then “Do not use the adapter” !

How to connect the new module correct:

Step 1: Connect the adapter to the speaker wires as picture below.

Step 2: Connect the adapter to the connecter on the amplifier board.

Step 3 : Once connected it should be correct assembled as on the picture below.

Continue with assembling the whole module into the cabinet.
